- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Rillet Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-native ERP technology that empowers accounting and finance teams to achieve zero-day close with unmatched speed, accuracy, and insight. Your work will directly impact high-growth AI-driven companies like Mercor, Windsurf, and Function Health, enabling them to scale their financial operations as rapidly as their businesses grow.
- • You will lead technical decision-making across the full software lifecycle, driving architectural discussions, setting engineering standards, and influencing product strategy in close collaboration with the CTO, product, design, and finance teams to build industry-defining financial software.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include translating user insights into technical requirements, advocating for customer-centric engineering decisions, establishing continuous delivery practices, mentoring engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, leading test-driven development and automation efforts, owning production reliability via monitoring and incident response, and raising the technical bar across the organization.
- • You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to balance business needs with technical excellence, ensuring scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that align with Rillet’s mission to revolutionize financial operations through AI-native architecture and unified data models.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, including a proven track record leading large-scale projects and architecting scalable systems
- • Expertise in both object-oriented and functional programming approaches
- • Ability to find practical solutions to real user problems without compromising on quality
- • Thrives independently and collaboratively within small teams, with passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- • Open to using AI to amplify skills, demonstrating curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in responsible AI application
