- • As a Software Development Engineer II on the Logistics API team at Mapbox, you will design, develop, and operate critical routing services that power navigation for millions of users and enterprise logistics platforms worldwide.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable APIs and routing engine tiers, improving data consumption and storage services, driving tool development, shaping internal automations, defining quality metrics, running reliability experiments, participating in end-to-end feature delivery, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
- • You will work within a high-visibility, collaborative team responsible for Directions and Logistics APIs that handle millions of daily requests under strict latency requirements, supporting everything from individual driver routes to complex delivery network optimizations.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in distributed systems, geo-spatial engineering, and API reliability while contributing to a platform used by over 4 million developers and influencing the future of AI-integrated engineering workflows at Mapbox.
