📋 Description

• As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be instrumental in driving sales velocity and ensuring customer success by acting as the primary technical liaison throughout the sales cycle. You will translate complex customer needs into tangible, effective solutions, architecting them using Lakera's cutting-edge AI Defense Plane. Your expertise will empower enterprises to secure their AI stacks and unlock innovative, next-generation use cases, positioning Lakera at the forefront of AI security.
• This role demands a unique blend of deep technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and genuine customer empathy. You will be the trusted technical advisor for prospects, guiding them through the evaluation process and demonstrating how Lakera's platform can address their specific challenges and strategic objectives. Your ability to understand diverse technical environments and map them to Lakera's capabilities will be crucial.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. This partnership is vital for ensuring that Lakera not only meets but exceeds customer expectations, fulfilling our mission to make AI safe and reliable for businesses worldwide.
• A key responsibility will be to partner with the Customer Success team, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to customer. You will help customers onboard efficiently and guide them to realize the full value of the Lakera platform, fostering long-term success and adoption.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including guides and best practices. This will streamline pre-sales engagements and provide essential resources for post-sales workflows, contributing to a scalable and efficient customer journey.
• Supporting product configuration and implementing minor technical adjustments will be part of your day-to-day. This hands-on involvement ensures that prospect and customer implementations are tailored to their unique infrastructure and requirements.
• A critical aspect of this role is acting as the voice of the customer internally. You will meticulously gather and feed prospect feedback directly into the Product and Engineering teams. This input is invaluable for shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that Lakera's platform continuously evolves to meet the dynamic and real-world needs of the market.
• You will play a foundational role in building out a robust and scalable Solutions Engineering function. This includes developing playbooks, defining repeatable best practices, and establishing processes that will support Lakera's growth and ensure consistent, high-quality technical engagement.
• Your work will directly impact how enterprises adopt and secure AI technologies. By demonstrating the power and security of Lakera's AI Defense Plane, you will enable businesses to confidently unleash the next phase of intelligent computing, protecting them and their users from adversarial threats and ensuring AI aligns with intended outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record of managing relationships with large, complex organizations, ideally with experience selling deeply technical enterprise products.
• Proficiency in coding, particularly within the Python and Javascript ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience enabling large-scale implementations on at least one major hyperscaler platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of and experience navigating security, compliance, and IT processes within large enterprises when implementing B2B products.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and comfort presenting to diverse audiences, from one-on-one meetings to large conference venues.
