📋 Description
- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Medallion Inc., you will work closely with senior team members on high-impact projects, shipping production code in your first week and rapidly taking on greater responsibility while influencing the company roadmap and improving healthcare operations through technology.
- • Day to day, you will scope and lead large projects, address ambiguity, create technical plans, mentor engineers, write production code across the full stack (Python/Django backend and React/TypeScript frontend), and help balance technical and product tradeoffs in team roadmap planning.
- • Medallion is a fast-growing healthcare technology company that automates licensing, credentialing, payer enrollment, and compliance monitoring to eliminate administrative bottlenecks, empowering healthcare teams to focus on patient care while improving provider satisfaction and accelerating revenue.
- • In this role, you will deepen your technical expertise across multiple domains, grow as a technical leader and mentor, shape engineering practices, and deliver features that directly improve healthcare system efficiency and patient outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer
- • Experience mentoring and leading teams, ideally in a startup environment
- • Experience across multiple functional areas including frontend, backend, platform, services, data, or cloud infrastructure
- • Strong technical foundation and ability to work cross-functionally to define, build, and deliver on product and tech objectives
- • Excellent communication skills and a deep care for both technical and product success
