- • As a Staff Software Engineer, Backend at Harvey AI Inc., you will own and lead engineering projects across product lines, working closely with AI, Legal, and GTM teams to build secure systems that deliver value to customers in the legal and professional services space.
- • Day to day, you will handle retrieval over petabyte-scale documents, build organizational-level interfaces for AI collaboration, manage dedicated GPU capacity across 5+ regions, develop 1000-step planning agents for complex workflows like taking companies public, ensure government-level security for sensitive matters, evaluate LLMs across a 10k+ leaf taxonomy of tasks, and collect internet-scale data from over 50+ jurisdictions.
- • Harvey AI is transforming legal and professional services through frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, serving 1000+ customers in 60+ countries with strong product-market fit and world-class investor backing. 🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years (post-BS/MS) of backend-focused software engineering experience on product-centric teams
- • Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products by leveraging PWA technologies
- • Experience building backend platforms that can support multiple product lines
- • Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge
- • Grit - experience working at early-stage startups is a plus
