- • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Core UI team at SimSpace, you will serve as the senior-most technical voice, setting frontend architecture and standards while leading complex UI initiatives end to end to ensure consistency, accessibility, and performance across all customer-facing interfaces.
- • You will design, build, and maintain the company’s design system (Monorail) and shared component libraries, bridge UX and engineering by improving design-to-code workflows, champion accessibility best practices, and raise UI quality through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship.
- • You’ll partner closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and engineers across the organization to translate design intent into reusable, scalable systems, influencing technical direction through craft and collaboration without formal management authority.

- • In this role, you will have real ownership of a critical frontend platform, enabling you to shape how every product team builds interfaces and how customers experience SimSpace’s product—directly impacting usability, consistency, and frontend velocity at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional experience in frontend, UX, or design-adjacent engineering with a track record of leading technical projects end to end
- • Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, including modern component patterns, state management, and performance sufficient to set architectural direction for shared systems
- • Experience building and maintaining design systems or shared UI libraries used by multiple teams
- • Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y) standards and how to operationalize them in real-world interfaces
- • Experience writing well-tested, well-documented UI code intended for reuse and scale
- • Proven ability to collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across teams
