- • As a Staff Software Engineer, Front End at Tebra Inc., you will step into a pivotal technical leadership role, tasked with addressing significant, real-world challenges faced by healthcare providers.
- • Your core mission will be to spearhead the architectural direction for our most complex and large-scale User Interface (UI) initiatives, driving innovation and technical excellence.
- • You will be instrumental in guiding this technical transformation, consistently championing a customer-first mindset while making astute, pragmatic decisions that safeguard the long-term health and scalability of our systems.
- • Concurrently, you will be a trailblazer in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our product offerings, actively shaping and constructing the new, intelligent user experiences that will define Tebra's future trajectory.
- • You will own product development end-to-end, from meticulously defining the problem statement aligned with our Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the final solution.
- • Serve as a crucial technical partner to the Product Management team, sharing ownership of the product roadmap, proactively identifying potential risks, and surfacing innovative engineering-led opportunities.
- • Employ a rapid hypothesis-driven approach, leveraging data to quickly iterate and discover tactics that yield the most substantial impact, continuously refining processes through a cycle of learning and improvement.
- • Foster an environment where decisions are based on what is objectively right, rather than on individual opinions, actively soliciting feedback, promoting continuous learning, and providing candid, constructive feedback to drive collective growth.
- • Architect and develop robust frameworks that can be efficiently leveraged by the broader engineering team, promoting code reusability and standardization.
- • Make strategic investments in technical foundations to enhance our product shipping velocity, ensuring we deliver high-quality products that merit recognition and industry acclaim.
- • Champion the adoption and integration of AI tools, such as coding assistants, into our daily development lifecycle to significantly boost team velocity, elevate code quality, and streamline the testing process.
- • Lead and successfully deliver large-scale projects from their initial conception through to production, including comprehensive post-launch support that may involve collaboration across multiple teams.
- • Drive difficult engineering discussions within the team, presenting a clear menu of viable options and their associated trade-offs to management for informed decision-making.
- • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization.
- • Partner closely with product management to collaboratively develop and refine product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment.
- • Demonstrate a keen ability to recognize and proactively address project risks and identify emerging opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- • Make informed build versus buy decisions for software components and solutions, balancing internal development capabilities with external market offerings.
- • Possess the ability to look beyond standard software best practices to make critical technical decisions that are precisely tailored to meet specific business needs and objectives.
- • Contribute to the development and mentoring of software engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
- • Embrace challenges in areas where requirements may not be clearly defined, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving prowess.
- • Show a proactive and constructive dissatisfaction with the status quo, always seeking ways to improve processes, products, and team performance.
- • Take ownership of the technical vision for front-end development, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tooling, and engineering culture.
- • Actively participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability.
- • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate user needs and design mockups into functional, high-quality user interfaces.
- • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or areas for optimization.
- • Stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to Tebra's product suite.
- • Contribute to the technical roadmap for front-end architecture, anticipating future needs and challenges.
- • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their technical development.
- • Drive initiatives related to front-end accessibility and internationalization, ensuring our products are usable by a wide range of users.
- • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and component libraries, promoting consistency and efficiency across the platform.
- • Play a key role in defining and enforcing coding standards and best practices within the front-end team.
- • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical strategy for the front-end platform.
- • Ensure the security and integrity of front-end applications through robust development practices.
