- • Lead engineering projects across Harvey’s product lines, collaborating with AI, Legal, and GTM teams to build secure, high-impact systems that deliver value to legal and professional service customers.
- • Scale document ingestion and processing systems growing at 10x every six months, ensuring reliability and performance under rapidly increasing data volumes.
- • Design and implement massive data collection frameworks that span over 50 legal jurisdictions, enabling compliance and functionality across diverse regulatory environments.
- • Build government-level security protocols for top-tier law firms and government entities, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory adherence.
- • Lead the development of AI-native features including agentic orchestration layers, tool calls, and retrieval systems that enhance AI-driven workflows.
- • Ship full-stack features across web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, MS Word, and API integrations, delivering seamless AI experiences to end users.
- • Architect intuitive user interfaces and robust backend APIs using React and TypeScript on the frontend, paired with Python and Postgres on the backend.
- • Design and implement streaming architectures and long-running process systems to handle complex, real-time tool-calling workflows.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of features with strong attention to detail, ensuring highly intuitive, polished user experiences that delight customers.
- • Build scalable and extensible solutions that support multiple concurrent product lines while maintaining code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- • Apply strong computer science fundamentals to solve complex engineering problems in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience (post-BS/MS) in a product-focused full-stack software engineering role
- • Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS (TailwindCSS), Python, and Postgres
- • Proven track record of building and shipping fast-growing SaaS products
- • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver highly intuitive, detail-oriented user experiences
- • Experience building scalable, extensible full-stack solutions across multiple product lines
- • Strong programming skills and foundational computer science knowledge
