• • As a backend-leaning full-stack engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and scaling the complex automation systems that power our core services. This includes building robust backend business logic that navigates intricate insurance carrier rules, developing efficient data pipelines for customer policy synchronization and timely alerts, and optimizing internal tools to minimize agent intervention.
• • You will be instrumental in enhancing our automation systems for insurance servicing tasks, such as policy endorsements, cancellations, document uploads, and reinstatements. Your work will directly contribute to reducing policy cancellations, improving renewal rates, and ensuring our users consistently receive the best coverage, all within fast-paced sprint cycles averaging 1–2 weeks for shipping new automations.
• • The role involves a significant focus on backend architecture, including the continuous improvement of our backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture. You will be involved in refactoring major parts of our codebase, simplifying legacy systems, rebuilding core workflows, and laying the foundational groundwork for the next three years of our platform's growth. This is an opportunity to shape the technical direction and scalability of a rapidly growing product.

While experience with our specific stack is beneficial, a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and systems design is highly valued.
