• • As a Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack at Observable Space Inc., you will play a critical role in shaping the technical foundation of a company pioneering real-time space observation through vertically integrated hardware and software systems. Your work will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and innovation of platforms serving commercial, scientific, educational, government, and enthusiast markets in the space industry.
• • Day to day, you will own multi-quarter technical roadmaps for platform systems, design and maintain Kotlin backend microservices, C++ edge processing applications, and reactive TypeScript frontends, while optimizing relational database schemas, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing solutions. You will also debug complex production issues across the full stack, establish observability practices, and drive architectural decisions ensuring long-term technical scalability.
• • You will join a dynamic team of industry experts from SpaceX, Planewave, and National Laboratories, backed by top-tier investors including Upfront Ventures and Oceans Ventures.
