📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Managed Services team within Grafana Labs’ Databases department, you will operate and evolve shared, production-critical infrastructure powering Grafana Cloud’s next-generation database products (Mimir, Loki, Tempo), including 100+ WarpStream clusters across multi-cloud environments, ensuring high-throughput, low-latency observability at massive scale.
• • Day to day, you will diagnose and eliminate cross-layer failure modes, design safe upgrade strategies, improve observability and automation, partner with database and platform teams on scaling and performance, serve as a primary escalation point for incidents, and own vendor relationships—all while mentoring engineers and driving reliability investments in a remote-first, globally distributed team.
