📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Managed Services team within Grafana Databases, you will operate and evolve shared, production-critical infrastructure powering Grafana Cloud’s next-generation database products (Mimir, Loki, Tempo), including 100+ WarpStream clusters across multiple cloud providers and regions, ensuring high-throughput, low-latency performance for metrics, logs, and traces.
• • Day to day, you will diagnose and eliminate cross-layer failure modes, design safe upgrade and rollout strategies at scale, improve observability and automation, serve as a primary escalation point for incidents, own vendor relationships (e.g., WarpStream Labs), and partner with database and platform teams on scaling, partitioning, and query performance.
