📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer on the Integrations team at Pivotal Health, you will play a critical role in building the technical backbone that connects the company’s AI-driven reimbursement platform to external healthcare systems such as EHRs, billing systems, and partner APIs. Your work will directly enable healthcare providers to dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover rightful reimbursement in a complex and evolving healthcare landscape.
• Day to day, you will own the technical direction for integration systems by driving architectural decisions, writing production code, leading design reviews, and taking end-to-end ownership of healthcare data pipelines, SFTP-based ingestion workflows, and EHR platform connections. You will also engage in customer and problem discovery with product and partners to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, executable plans while mentoring senior and mid-level engineers and raising the engineering bar through code quality and collaboration.
• You will join a backend-focused, high-autonomy team that is still defining its architecture and ownership boundaries, operating within a mission-driven company that combines software, data, and service to simplify reimbursement workflows for healthcare providers. Pivotal Health is dedicated to helping providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex system, and your contributions will have direct impact on reducing underpayment and administrative strain.
