- • Design, lead, build, and launch new products on Ramp’s iOS app with end-to-end ownership from concept to production scaling
- • Drive the core product engineering roadmap for iOS, making prioritization and scoping decisions that impact millions of users
- • Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and own the quality and reliability of the iOS codebase
- • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to plan, identify, and define key features that enhance user experience and business outcomes
- • Analyze customer feedback from product and business teams to continuously improve app functionality, performance, and usability
- • Write high-quality, maintainable code in Swift for iOS applications, adhering to mobile design patterns and best practices
- • Implement and enforce security best practices specific to mobile applications to protect sensitive financial data
- • Lead technical initiatives that scale the iOS app to support over 70,000+ businesses processing $200B in annualized spend
- • Work in a fast-paced environment requiring continuous learning, adaptation to new technologies, and rapid iteration on high-stakes financial systems
- • Own the delivery of features that reach large user bases, ensuring robust testing, monitoring, and post-launch performance
- • Partner with backend, web, and data teams to align iOS functionality with broader platform goals and data-driven decision-making
- • Contribute to the technical evolution of Ramp’s mobile stack, including adoption of SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, and modern iOS architectures
- • Participate in cross-functional planning sessions to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable product outcomes
- • Maintain and improve app performance, stability, and user retention through proactive debugging, optimization, and feature iteration
- • Engage with App Store Connect for app submissions, compliance, and release management
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development
- • A minimum of 2 years of technical leadership experience leading and/or managing teams
- • Proficiency in Swift for iOS development
- • Knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform
- • Experience contributing at least one mobile app and/or several features that reached a large number of users
- • Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
