📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Lending Products team at Parafin, you will lead the technical evolution of the platforms and infrastructure that power all of Parafin's lending products, enabling fast and reliable financial tools for small businesses through partnerships with major platforms like DoorDash and Amazon.
• • You will lead the technical design and evolution of shared infrastructure, partner with engineers across lending verticals to build enabling platform capabilities, set technical direction through design docs and architecture reviews, and own infrastructure improvements that accelerate product development and system reliability.
• • You will join a tight-knit team of innovators from companies like Stripe, Square, Plaid, and Coinbase, united by a mission to grow small businesses by simplifying access to financial tools through embedded finance solutions.
• • In this role, you will raise the bar for engineering quality by mentoring engineers, improving team processes and reliability practices, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering a culture of craft, ownership, and technical excellence across the organization.
