- • As a Staff Software Engineer on Twilio Stytch’s Agent team, you will be a foundational member building the future of agent identity, enabling secure, developer-first authentication and verification for AI developers and users globally.
- • You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable distributed services focused on security, latency, and developer experience, while owning the end-to-end lifecycle of new services from prototyping to production deployment and mentoring engineers to foster technical excellence.
- • You’ll partner with product and engineering leadership to set technical direction, translate customer needs into roadmap features, and collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams to align architecture and unblock initiatives in a high-ownership, startup-speed environment backed by Twilio’s scale.
- • In this role, you’ll grow as a technical leader by shaping foundational identity platforms, influencing stakeholders, staying ahead of emerging threats in agentic and non-human identity, and advancing your expertise in scalable systems, security architecture, and developer experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience building and operating highly scalable, distributed systems with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.
- • Experience working with agents and/or LLMs.
- • Strong hands-on coding skills and a willingness to dive deep to solve complex problems.
- • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing resilient, fault-tolerant systems.
- • Experience making high-impact technical decisions and leading technical initiatives.
- • A proven track record of driving technical excellence while keeping customer needs at the center of your work.
