Our core mission is to equip finance professionals within the world's leading investment banks, private equity funds, and investment firms with AI-powered tools that deliver unprecedented speed, accuracy, and actionable insights. We are not merely optimizing existing financial workflows; we are fundamentally reimagining and rebuilding them from the ground up, setting a new standard for enterprise AI in finance.
- • This role presents a unique and exciting opportunity to join a company poised for significant growth at a critical inflection point. With a rapidly expanding client base, a validated product-market fit, and robust backing from esteemed, world-class investors, Rogo is scaling at an accelerated pace and actively defining a new category of enterprise AI solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Platform Engineer to spearhead the technical direction and evolution of our platform, ensuring its readiness to support a 10x+ expansion in enterprise customers.
- • This is a deeply hands-on, high-impact position with comprehensive responsibility for the architecture, reliability, and overall developer experience across our sophisticated Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will be instrumental in tackling complex technical challenges, elevating the engineering standards through your contributions, and serving as a crucial technical collaborator and enabler for product engineers throughout the organization. Your work will directly influence the scalability, stability, and efficiency of our core technology.
- • *PLATFORM RELIABILITY & SCALABILITY**
- • Design, architect, and implement robust, scalable solutions within our Kubernetes-based platform, specifically engineered to handle secure enterprise workloads with demanding performance requirements.
- • Proactively define, champion, and contribute to critical reliability initiatives, including the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Objectives (SLOs), meticulous capacity planning to anticipate future demand, and the implementation of comprehensive resilience improvements to ensure continuous operation.
- • Systematically identify, diagnose, and resolve complex system misconfigurations, architectural vulnerabilities, and potential performance bottlenecks before they impact users or operations.
- • Develop and refine systems designed to seamlessly support a tenfold increase in customer growth, ensuring clear failure modes are understood and robust mitigation strategies are in place for all critical components.
- • *INFRASTRUCTURE AS A PRODUCT**
- • Take full ownership of and drive continuous, iterative improvements across all internal platform systems, encompassing deployment pipelines, environment management, and essential developer tooling.
- • Lead initiatives to enhance the overall reliability, observability, and operational efficiency of our infrastructure, making it more predictable and performant.
- • Serve as a significant force multiplier for product engineers by developing intuitive guardrails that guide development and self-serve tooling that empowers them to operate independently and efficiently, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and accelerated delivery.
- • *SYSTEMS THINKING & TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP**
- • Apply a rigorous, structured approach to dissecting and solving complex infrastructure and distributed systems problems, bringing clarity and order to intricate technical landscapes.
- • Actively contribute to the definition and refinement of internal engineering standards, best practices, and architectural design principles, ensuring consistency and quality across the engineering organization.
- • Collaborate effectively across engineering, product management, and leadership teams to identify and remove technical blockers, thereby accelerating the delivery of critical features and platform enhancements.
- • Mentor and guide other engineers on platform best practices, distributed systems design, and operational excellence, helping to build a stronger, more capable engineering team.
- • Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the platform engineering domain, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to AI and enterprise infrastructure.
- • This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments, possesses a deep technical curiosity, and is driven by the opportunity to make a substantial impact on a foundational technology. You will be a key player in shaping the future of enterprise AI in finance.
