📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer - Platform at Rillet Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of an AI-native ERP platform that enables accounting and finance teams to achieve zero-day close, directly impacting the financial operations of high-growth companies.
• You will lead architectural decisions, drive platform reliability and scalability, and elevate engineering standards across the organization, ensuring that Rillet’s infrastructure keeps pace with its rapid innovation and customer demands.
• Your work will empower developers to ship faster and more reliably by improving CI/CD, automation, and observability, while mentoring teammates and fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Day to day, you will: lead technical discussions and set standards for infrastructure, developer experience, and integrations; shape the multi-year platform roadmap by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, scalability, and developer productivity; collaborate with product and engineering teams to advocate for infrastructure investments that balance speed with operational excellence; establish and promote best-in-class CI/CD practices, mentor engineers on deployment strategies, and ensure reliable, frequent releases; champion test-driven development and automation by building robust testing frameworks and instilling a quality-first mindset; own end-to-end production reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response leadership, and stability-focused improvements; and mentor engineers via code reviews and technical guidance to raise the bar across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record architecting scalable, resilient systems across infrastructure, developer experience, and integrations
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and operational tooling, with a strong instinct for building platforms that improve developer velocity and reduce toil
• Comfortable context-switching across infra, DevEx, and integrations without losing depth, equally at home optimizing a CI/CD pipeline or designing an integration architecture
