- • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Stream Compute team at Stripe, you will help define and deliver the next generation of Flink-first stream compute infrastructure, enabling reliable, efficient, and scalable real-time data processing for critical financial operations across the company.
- • You will design, build, and operate stream compute infrastructure centered on Apache Flink, partnering with product and platform teams to improve adoption, drive automation, and enhance resilience through best practices like shuffle sharding, cellular architecture, and self-healing systems.
- • The Stream Compute team operates globally distributed, high-scale systems that power core asynchronous workflows and real-time analytics, handling vast amounts of sensitive financial data with a commitment to exactly-once processing, state integrity, and zero event loss.
- • You will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives that improve Flink availability and state durability, contribute to open source, and shape long-term infrastructure strategy while working with cutting-edge stream processing technologies in a high-impact fintech environment.
