- • Serve as a senior individual contributor providing technical leadership for core infrastructure platforms including compute, virtualization, storage, Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes.
- • Design, build, and scale enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions that are resilient, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business strategy.
- • Own complex, cross-cutting infrastructure challenges by identifying systemic issues, reducing operational toil, and automating manual processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- • Define and drive IaC standards using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Git to deliver repeatable, automated, and auditable infrastructure deployments.
- • Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI-assisted and agent-based workflows to enhance infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and engineering productivity.
- • Partner with Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams to design end-to-end solutions spanning hybrid data center and cloud environments.
- • Perform impact analysis for major infrastructure changes and proactively identify risks across interconnected systems and platforms.
- • Act as a senior escalation point for critical incidents, leading root cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- • Define, document, and socialize engineering standards, reference architectures, and best practices across infrastructure domains.
- • Mentor junior engineers through coaching, design reviews, and knowledge sharing to raise the technical bar and foster a culture of excellence.
- • Influence infrastructure and platform roadmaps by collaborating with engineering leadership to prioritize long-term strategic initiatives.
- • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities, including disaster recovery planning and execution.
- • Share technical design decisions and reference architectures with Infrastructure leadership to ensure alignment and prioritization.
- • Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and delivery velocity through sustained, measurable automation and platform improvements.
- • Maintain deep hands-on ownership of enterprise storage systems including block storage, file/NAS platforms, object storage (S3-compatible), and data durability models.
- • Operate and integrate enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage, Cohesity, and Qumulo or equivalent solutions.
- • Administer highly available Linux and Windows Server environments in production with focus on performance tuning, lifecycle management, and security.
- • Apply networking fundamentals to troubleshoot and design infrastructure across compute, storage, and network boundaries.
- • Work in hybrid virtualized environments and reason about architectural tradeoffs between on-premises and cloud platforms.
- • Overlap regularly with U.S. business hours to enable seamless collaboration with global teams.
- • Remain compliant with company policies, processes, and guidelines while fulfilling all assigned duties.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- • 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience with deep ownership of compute, virtualization, and storage platforms
- • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-scale compute and virtualization environments including capacity planning, lifecycle management, availability, and performance tuning
- • Strong experience with enterprise storage systems: block storage, file/NAS, object storage (S3-compatible), and remote file services with identity and security integration
- • Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools
- • Hands-on experience operating and integrating enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage, Cohesity, or Qumulo
