Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of AlphaSense’s most strategic, cross-functional initiatives—from initial discovery through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement—ensuring that every release moves the needle on revenue, retention, and customer delight.
- • Translate ambiguous, high-level business goals into crisp, measurable program charters that engineering, product, design, data science, and go-to-market teams can rally around; define scope, success metrics, milestones, and risk-mitigation plans that withstand the scrutiny of executives and board members.
- • Drive large-scale programs that span multiple product pillars (Search, GenAI, Data Platform, Enterprise, Mobile) and impact millions of users, hundreds of enterprise clients, and petabytes of financial and market intelligence data.
- • Orchestrate agile ceremonies across 10–20 distributed scrum teams in North America, EMEA, and APAC; balance iterative delivery with long-term architectural investments, ensuring that quarterly OKRs ladder up to multi-year platform visions.
- • Build and maintain a living roadmap that reconciles customer commitments, regulatory deadlines, and technical debt; surface trade-offs early and often, enabling leadership to make informed, data-backed decisions.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering leadership and revenue, marketing, customer success, and compliance teams; translate technical complexity into executive narratives and customer-facing value propositions.
- • Champion a culture of ruthless prioritization, transparent communication, and psychological safety; coach TPMs and engineering managers on program hygiene, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- • Instrument programs with telemetry, A/B tests, and phased rollouts; partner with data science to quantify impact on search relevance, query latency, user engagement, and ARR, iterating quickly when metrics miss targets.
- • Lead quarterly planning rituals that balance capacity, dependencies, and strategic bets; negotiate resource allocation with VPs and directors while protecting engineering velocity and team health.
- • Establish and evolve program management best practices—templates, dashboards, playbooks, and tooling—that scale as AlphaSense grows from 1,000 to 5,000 employees and from one to multiple product lines.
- • Anticipate regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, SEC) early in the program lifecycle; embed privacy-by-design and zero-trust principles into every technical spec.
- • Mentor junior TPMs through structured career development plans, regular 1:1s, and hands-on coaching; create a succession pipeline that ensures continuity of critical programs during hyper-growth.
- • Present program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to the executive team and board of directors; distill complex technical trade-offs into concise, decision-ready briefs.
- • Foster a remote-first culture of documentation, asynchronous communication, and inclusive decision-making; leverage Slack, Notion, Jira, and Looker to keep global stakeholders aligned without meeting overload.
- • Contribute to AlphaSense’s thought-leadership content—blog posts, conference talks, and customer webinars—that showcase how disciplined program management accelerates AI innovation in capital markets.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of technical program management experience in high-growth SaaS or AI/ML companies, with at least 3 years owning programs that span multiple engineering teams and product areas.
- • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, customer-facing features or platform migrations on time and within budget while balancing technical debt, regulatory constraints, and business priorities.
- • Deep fluency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), dependency mapping, risk management, and OKR-based planning; expert-level proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Looker, or equivalent tools.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor narratives to engineers, sales leaders, and board members alike; experience presenting to C-level executives and external customers.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary benchmarked against similar high-growth companies, plus performance-based bonus and meaningful equity that grows with AlphaSense’s valuation.
- • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly in-person summits, generous home-office stipend, and flexible PTO to support work-life balance.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental-wellness coverage for you and your dependents, plus 401(k) with company match and equity refresh programs.
- • Annual professional-development budget ($3,500) and dedicated learning days to attend conferences, pursue certifications, or complete advanced coursework.
