📋 Description

• • Lead end-to-end technical program management for embedded software and firmware development across ALSO’s line of electric mobility products, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and hardware components.
• • Manage multiple concurrent software workstreams including controls, connectivity, and embedded systems, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across hardware, software, and product teams.
• • Collaborate directly with cross-functional engineering teams—software, firmware, hardware, and QA—to define requirements, identify technical risks, and drive execution against the product roadmap.
• • Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, release plans, and resource allocation strategies aligned with product milestones and company objectives.
• • Own communication of project status, risks, and blockers to senior leadership and global stakeholders across multiple time zones, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• • Implement and refine development processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and scale team productivity across rapidly evolving product lines.
• • Drive release management for embedded software, coordinating builds, validations, and deployment timelines with both internal teams and external partners.
• • Proactively identify and resolve execution bottlenecks, technical debt, and cross-team misalignments to maintain velocity and product quality.
• • Utilize Jira and other task tracking tools to monitor progress, document issues, and ensure accountability across all software development activities.
• • Translate high-level product goals into actionable technical plans, balancing engineering constraints with business priorities and customer expectations.
• • Foster strong working relationships between distributed teams, including hardware engineers, backend developers, and product managers, to enable cohesive delivery of consumer-facing devices.
• • Maintain a systems-level perspective, navigating complex interdependencies between firmware, hardware, cloud services, and mobile applications to ensure integrated functionality.
• • Continuously evaluate and adapt program management methodologies to suit team structure, project complexity, and organizational maturity, particularly in early-stage product development environments.
• • Document and communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and progress updates clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• • Champion process improvements that reduce inefficiencies in software development lifecycles, from ideation through production deployment.
• • Serve as the primary point of accountability for on-time delivery of software features critical to ALSO’s vehicle functionality and user experience.
• • Work closely with product and design teams to ensure software capabilities align with user needs and product vision, while respecting hardware limitations and power constraints.
• • Contribute to the strategic planning of future product generations by providing insights from past program execution, learning, and team performance.
• • Participate in cross-departmental reviews to assess technical feasibility, scalability, and risk profiles of new features prior to commitment.
• • Act as a bridge between engineering execution and executive communication, translating technical challenges into business impacts and strategic recommendations.
