- • As a Startup Customer Success Manager for Ashby Inc., you will serve as the primary point of contact for early-stage customers across the EMEA region, helping them build hiring excellence into their organizational DNA by guiding them through onboarding and ongoing product adoption.
- • You will own a book of customers, manage shared inbox inquiries, conduct customer calls per SLA, and lead medium to large projects such as building in-app onboarding experiences, curating e-webinars, and embedding retention best practices into customer engagement.
- • You will collaborate with a team of fifteen Customer Success professionals spanning the US and EMEA, contributing to a pooled (1:many) support model that ensures agile, scalable customer interactions while maintaining high-touch support when needed.
- • You will develop deep product expertise in Ashby’s complex recruiting platform, become a trusted advisor to startup leaders, and grow your ability to solve multifaceted customer challenges through principled thinking, detailed communication, and proactive process improvement.
- • You will gain ownership over strategic initiatives that impact customer retention and product adoption, shadow peers, take on customer calls within 60 days, and manage a full book of accounts by day 90, positioning you for long-term impact in a high-growth startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a Startup Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, or Program Manager in a customer-facing role supporting a complex, rapidly evolving SaaS product.
- • Proven ability to become a subject matter expert in complex tools (e.g., Zapier, HubSpot, Acuity Scheduling) and translate that knowledge into clear, empathetic guidance for diverse user groups.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of solving complex customer challenges through detailed, principled thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
