- • Own the full life-cycle of our Shops at Pembroke Gardens studio—from the moment the doors open until the last customer leaves with sparkling new piercings. You are the face of Rowan, ensuring every guest is greeted with genuine warmth, guided through a safe and celebratory piercing journey, and leaves feeling confident and cared for.
- • Lead from the floor, not from an office. You will spend 80% of your shift shoulder-to-shoulder with your team of Nurse Piercers and Sales Associates, modeling exceptional service, coaching in real time, and jumping in to style ears, solve problems, and close sales.
- • Drive revenue by owning aggressive but achievable sales targets. You will convert first-time piercing clients into lifelong jewelry collectors, increase average order value through consultative styling, and coach every associate to hit individual KPIs while celebrating wins loudly and often.
- • Build and protect a culture obsessed with safety and compliance. Ensure every piercing follows Rowan’s clinical protocols, every tool is sterilized, every surface is spotless, and every customer feels secure. Conduct weekly safety audits and partner with our Clinical team on continuous improvement.
- • Master inventory like a merchandising pro. Receive, count, and protect high-value jewelry assortments; maintain 98% POS accuracy; curate earscape displays that stop shoppers in their tracks; and execute flawless visual standards that reflect the playful, elevated Rowan brand.
- • Recruit, hire, and retain top talent. You will source diverse candidates, run engaging interviews, and onboard new team members with a 30-day ramp plan that covers product knowledge, piercing after-care education, and Rowan’s signature customer-experience rituals.
- • Create schedules that balance customer demand with payroll budgets. Forecast traffic patterns, approve time-off requests fairly, and adjust staffing in real time to ensure zero missed appointments and maximum conversion.
- • Be the local brand ambassador. Forge partnerships with nearby gyms, schools, and mom groups; host piercing parties and influencer events; and turn Pembroke Gardens into the go-to destination for milestone ear piercings.
- • Analyze the numbers that matter. Track daily sales, conversion, ATV, and LTV in Google Sheets; present weekly business recaps to corporate; and turn insights into action—whether that means reallocating best-sellers or retraining a struggling associate.
- • Handle the administrative backbone with precision: open and close registers, balance cash drawers, submit payroll edits, file incident reports, and ensure every marketing launch—from TikTok trends to new-collection drops—lands flawlessly in your studio.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. Foster a studio where every teammate and customer—regardless of age, race, gender identity, or piercing history—feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
- • Stay agile in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment. One day you might climb a ladder to install a neon ear-curation wall; the next you might jump on TikTok Live to showcase new birthstone studs. Flexibility, curiosity, and a sense of humor are essential.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a service-driven or jewelry environment
- • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets
- • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- • Comfortable with Google Suite, POS systems, and basic retail math
