  • • Own the full enterprise sales cycle for mortgage lenders and servicers, from initial outreach through contract close, managing 6-12 month deal cycles with complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across enterprise mortgage institutions, including C-suite, legal, security, procurement, and operations teams.
  • • Conduct detailed discovery calls and product demonstrations of ValonOS, the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, translating technical capabilities into business value for diverse audiences.
  • • Develop and document scalable, repeatable sales processes and playbooks to support the growth of Valon’s enterprise go-to-market strategy as a founding sales hire.
  • • Represent Valon at industry conferences and events to expand market presence and generate qualified pipeline.
  • • Maintain accurate forecast data, track stage progression, and ensure high-quality pipeline generation with disciplined deal inspection practices.
  • • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into strategic product roadmap inputs.
  • • Travel to client sites approximately 25% of the time to conduct in-person meetings, demos, and relationship-building activities.
  • • Navigate complex enterprise sales environments involving multi-threaded buying committees, regulatory compliance, data integration, and security reviews.
  • • Demonstrate deep technical fluency to understand and articulate how ValonOS transforms mortgage servicing through structured, programmable workflows and AI-driven operational improvements.
  • • Operate with high agency in a founder-led, early-stage environment where GTM strategy is being built from the ground up.
  • • Proactively identify and pursue new enterprise accounts within the mortgage servicing and lending industry, expanding Valon’s customer base beyond existing deployments.
  • • Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage industry workflows, pain points, and regulatory constraints to effectively position ValonOS as a mission-critical solution.
  • • Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts with consistent follow-through, organizational discipline, and a collaborative approach to solving customer challenges.
  • • Contribute to shaping the company’s sales culture by embodying entrepreneurial energy, curiosity, and a commitment to building something transformative.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with proven ownership of strategic accounts and complex deal execution
  • • Track record of selling mission-critical software to large enterprises with executive, technical, legal, security, procurement, and operations stakeholders
  • • Proven ability to build C-suite trust and manage multi-threaded buying committees
  • • Strong technical fluency to understand integrations, data movement, implementation risk, security reviews, and workflow transformation
  • • High agency and comfort operating in ambiguous, founder-led, zero-to-one GTM environments
  • • Ability and desire to learn mortgage servicing deeply; prior mortgage industry experience is helpful but not required
