📋 Description

  • As a Strategic & Corporate Development Associate at Carwow Ltd, you will work directly with the Director of the CEO Office to support high-impact strategic initiatives, including M&A, long-range planning, and Board-level decision-making, serving as a trusted extension of the executive leadership team.
  • You will produce Board-ready materials, conduct strategic analysis on market and competitive landscapes, support deal execution across the M&A lifecycle, and drive cross-functional projects under the CEO’s direct priorities, ensuring clarity, rigor, and actionable insight.
  • You will join a small, high-leverage team within Carwow’s CEO Office — the strategic nerve centre of the company — where you’ll gain direct exposure to consequential decisions, work alongside senior leaders, and contribute to multi-billion-pound growth initiatives following the acquisition of Autovia and expansion into global media and automotive platforms.
  • This role offers unparalleled exposure to real-time corporate strategy and deal-making, enabling you to develop elite skills in financial analysis, strategic storytelling, stakeholder influence, and executive communication while making a tangible impact on the company’s direction and growth trajectory.

🎯 Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience in management consulting (MBB or Big Four strategy/transaction advisory) or comparable in-house strategy/corporate development at a high-growth company
  • Excellent strategic thinking with ability to structure unstructured problems, generate insights, and propose actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and slide-making skills to produce clean, insight-led, Board-quality decks and written materials
  • Strong commercial acumen, including ability to interpret P&Ls, unit economics, and value drivers in tech, marketplace, or digital businesses
  • Analytically sharp and numerate, proficient in Excel/Sheets for building analyses and stress-testing assumptions
  • High ownership, proactivity, and ability to drive tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without formal authority
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial, strategic, and personnel information
  • Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 35 with length of service, plus additional leave for life events
  • Employee-friendly share options
  • Pension scheme via Royal London with up to 5% company contribution
  • Vitality private healthcare insurance
  • Life Assurance – 4x annual salary
  • Monthly coaching sessions with Spill for mental wellbeing
  • Generous learning and development budget
  • £500/€550 home office budget
  • ‘Work from abroad for a month’ annual scheme
  • Inclusive parental leave policies, including up to 20 weeks’ full pay maternity/shared parental leave and fertility support
  • Bubble childcare support and discounted nanny fees
