• • Strategic Customer Solutions Architect (AMER) at Supabase, Inc. is a senior technical role focused on owning and driving success for the company's highest-potential enterprise accounts running mission-critical, highly scaled workloads on Postgres. The role serves as a trusted technical partner who embeds deeply into customers' complex challenges to architect scalable solutions, optimize systems under production pressure, and guide organizations through critical platform migrations.
• • Day to day, the Solutions Architect will build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders, develop account plans mapping Supabase capabilities to long-term customer objectives, lead performance tuning engagements, conduct deep-dive Postgres architectural reviews, advise on schema design and query optimization, guide customers through enterprise security and compliance requirements (including RLS, SOC 2, HIPAA), own end-to-end technical migration strategy from legacy systems (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL platforms (Firebase, Fauna, PlanetScale), translate technical outcomes into organizational impact for CTOs and executives, advise on AI-native applications using pgvector and vector storage, advocate for customer needs internally to shape platform roadmap, and support pre-sales efforts on high-complexity deals by leading discovery and scoping proof-of-value engagements.

• • In this role, the person will deepen expertise in enterprise-scale Postgres architecture, performance tuning, and migration strategy; develop advanced skills in guiding customers through complex security, compliance, and AI workloads (including vector databases and embedding pipelines); gain experience influencing product roadmap through direct customer advocacy; strengthen executive communication abilities to translate technical outcomes into business impact for CTOs and engineering leaders; and grow as a trusted advisor in high-stakes enterprise environments while working with a globally distributed, mission-driven team passionate about open-source innovation.
