- • A core responsibility involves the creation, scoping, planning, and prioritization of informatics projects. This includes the meticulous development and deployment of pro-ration models, a critical component in calculating expected net revenue and understanding financial performance.
- • You will act as a key liaison with hospitals, understanding and addressing their unique analytical needs. This collaborative approach ensures that financial strategies are practical, effective, and tailored to the operational realities of healthcare delivery.
- • This role demands close collaboration with the Vice President and Senior Directors of Managed Care. Together, you will explore, research, and validate innovative models for healthcare delivery funding. Your work will involve extensive use of predictive modeling techniques to forecast trends, analyze patterns of care, estimate expected costs, and assess population risk, thereby informing long-term financial planning.
- • You will be instrumental in developing contracting strategies for managed care, grounded in robust analytical insights and a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics. This involves translating complex data into actionable strategies that optimize financial and strategic outcomes for professional and hospital payer agreements.
- • The position requires active participation in tactical discussions and planning sessions, as well as contributing to external negotiations. Your input will be vital in securing favorable contractual agreements that enhance both financial performance and strategic positioning.
- • A significant aspect of the role involves evaluating the financial risks and operational feasibility of novel healthcare delivery and funding models. This includes assessing the viability of models such as Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Bundled Payments, Modified Capitation, Performance-Based Reimbursement, and Employer-Specific Agreements.
- • You will be responsible for distilling complex financial models and data into clear, intelligible analyses and compelling presentations for senior leadership. Your ability to communicate intricate information effectively will empower executive decision-making.
- • This role includes directing the selection and implementation of specialized healthcare analytics software and process enhancements. The goal is to streamline modeling efforts, ensuring the team utilizes modern automation to support complex strategic pricing and negotiation initiatives, thereby enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- • Collaboration across various departments and teams within Stanford Health Care is essential to support the organization's overarching strategic objectives. You will foster strong working relationships to ensure alignment and integrated execution of financial strategies.
- • Upholding the highest standards of information management is paramount.
