Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Strategy & Analytics Manager role focused on building analytical and operational infrastructure for Hopper’s Travel Commercial organisation, which manages hotel, home, and car inventory for global partners.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing data models and dashboards, using AI to accelerate insights, running deep-dive analyses, defining and tracking KPIs, owning strategic meetings, building forecasting frameworks, improving commercial workflows, implementing operational changes end-to-end, identifying AI opportunities, understanding the tech stack, and translating commercial problems into actionable briefs for Product and Engineering.
- • The role sits at the intersection of data, process, and technology, working closely with Product and Engineering teams and reporting to senior commercial leadership in a 100% remote UK-based position.
- • The person will develop hands-on expertise in commercial analytics, AI integration, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, gaining the ability to drive measurable business impact while building scalable systems and influencing strategic decisions at a high-growth travel fintech company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, strategy & operations, or a similar analytical or commercial role
- • Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with BI and data tools such as Looker, Tableau, or BigQuery
- • Track record of building data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools — not just recommending them
- • Strong commercial instincts paired with rigorous analytical capability, comfortable moving between strategic conversations and hands-on builds
- • Genuine excitement about AI and an existing habit of using it to accelerate and improve work, with eagerness to apply it in a commercial context
- • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and/or Engineering teams, with sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively
- • First-principles thinking — questioning assumptions, stress-testing processes, and consistently asking why things work the way they do
- • Bias for action, strong sense of ownership, and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
🏖️ Benefits
- • Well-funded startup with competitive salary and pre-IPO equity upside
- • 100% of employee premiums covered for group health insurance via Vitality Health
- • Automatic pension contributions through Smart Pension upon joining
- • Generous parental leave, above industry standards
- • Access to co-working spaces via FlexDesk and a work-from-home stipend
- • Carrot Cash travel stipend
- • Unlimited PTO
- • Entrepreneurial culture with open communication and leadership accessibility
