📋 Description

• Strategy & Operations Manager at SafeLease Inc. leads cross-departmental initiatives to drive strategic and operational excellence in a fast-growing, profitable insurance technology company.
• Day to day, the role involves overseeing high-impact cross-functional projects, collaborating with Product, GTM, and Support teams to identify and implement operational improvements, developing and monitoring KPIs, creating project plans and resource allocations, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and mentoring junior team members.
• SafeLease is a profitable insurance business that designs, underwrites, and distributes specialty coverage for commercial property owners and tenants, controlling the full stack from product design to tech and capital backing, serving over 4,000 properties nationwide with billions in insured value, growing over 100% annually while maintaining profitability and culture.
• The person can learn to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth environment, gain deep exposure to insurance and tech operations, develop strategic influence with senior leadership, and build expertise in scaling operational excellence in a profitable, innovative organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 2-8 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategy, operations, or transformation projects
• Exceptional project management skills, with experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau for strategic analysis and reporting
• Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across multiple departments
• Experience working with Product, GTM, or Support teams in dynamic, high-growth environments
