📋 Description

• Execute high-priority tooling and automation initiatives across the operational stack to enhance day-to-day efficiency in a remote-first, scaling healthcare staffing company.
• Build, iterate on, and refine workflows, integrations, and automations that connect support platforms, AI-driven systems, and internal tools to improve operational reliability.
• Support and improve existing systems including support platforms and AI-driven solutions, ensuring seamless performance in production environments.
• Translate loosely defined operational problems into practical, well-scoped technical solutions with clear implementation paths.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or breakdowns in current tooling and proactively propose and implement improvements to strengthen the operational foundation.
• Troubleshoot system issues, enhance reliability, and ensure tools maintain performance as the business scales across Home Health, Hospitals, and Long-Term Care markets.
• Contribute to the alignment and integration of disparate systems, improving how tools connect and operate together across teams.
• Partner closely with team leadership to execute against defined operational priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.
• Maintain a high bar for quality and reliability in all tooling and automation work, ensuring systems support hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals and millions of patients.
• Operate independently across multiple platforms and technologies, adapting and debugging systems without heavy reliance on engineering support.
• Drive ownership of operational tooling initiatives from ideation through deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Work within a rapidly expanding, profitable Y-Combinator company that is growing its team to support increased demand in U.S. healthcare staffing.
• Contribute to a remote-first team of over 1,000 people focused on uplifting communities through financial stability for healthcare workers and essential care delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and automation tooling to build, debug, and adapt across different systems without heavy oversight
• Ability to take defined problems and drive them through to completion with execution discipline and high-quality standards
• Strong systems thinking skills to understand how tools, workflows, and dependencies connect and improve how systems operate together
• Proven problem-solving ability to translate loosely defined or ambiguous operational challenges into practical, well-structured technical solutions
• Ownership mindset with responsibility for delivering high-quality work and improving team operations through better tooling and processes
