  • • The Student Success Manager (SPOC)- Nursing role at Kaplan is pivotal in recruiting, enrolling, and guiding students through undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support from initial contact to graduation, directly impacting student retention and success.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outreach via outbound calls, emails, chat, video chat, and SMS to attract and enroll students; advising on career and program alignment; managing onboarding and financial guidance; providing personalized academic and course support; managing a student cohort to meet enrollment and retention metrics; collaborating with academic and admissions teams; ensuring compliance with FERPA and institutional regulations; and utilizing technology platforms like CRM tools, SIS, and learning management systems for student engagement and tracking.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Psychology, or Communications
  • • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in counseling/advising, customer service, sales concierge, or managing a large customer base
  • • Strong proficiency in technology for student management and engagement, including familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., SalesForce, Cvue), student information systems (e.g., CampusLogic, Brightspace, Canvas, Slate), and productivity suites (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Google Apps)
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, listening, time management, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • • Understanding of FERPA regulations and ability to ensure compliance in student advising and data handling
  • • Self-motivated, results-oriented, resilient, compassionate, patient, persuasive, flexible, passionate, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
