• • The Summer Internship - AI Researcher at Aledade, Inc. is a remote, 10-week opportunity (June 1–August 7, 2026) focused on advancing healthcare technology through research and prototyping of the Universal EHR Context Protocol.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching, designing, and prototyping a system that uses standard API routes to fulfill EHR requests, and when gaps occur, deploying secure, read-only browser-use agents powered by Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to extract clinical evidence from unstructured EHR documents and normalize it into a standard JSON schema for review in the Aledade Overlay.
• • Aledade is a healthcare technology company dedicated to improving primary care through data-driven solutions, supporting independent practices with tools that enhance care coordination, quality reporting, and patient outcomes.
• • The intern will gain hands-on experience in AI research, healthcare interoperability, VLM applications, API integration, and clinical data normalization, while working closely with senior leaders and contributing to meaningful projects that impact real-world healthcare operations.
