📋 Description

• The Summer Internship - AI Researcher at Aledade, Inc. offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare technology by researching, building, and prototyping an AI reasoning agent that processes ambient visit audio into an 'Intelligent Care Handoff' for clinical workflows.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing AI systems to surface clinical artifacts within the Aledade EHR Overlay, collaborating with senior leaders on substantive projects, and supporting human-in-the-loop (HITL) approval processes to improve care coordination.
• Aledade is a mission-driven healthcare technology company focused on transforming primary care through data-enabled solutions that empower independent physicians and improve patient outcomes at scale.
• The intern will gain practical experience in AI research and healthcare applications, develop technical prototyping skills, and deepen their understanding of how AI integrates into complex clinical environments and EHR systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and audio signal processing for speech or clinical dialogue analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
