📋 Description
- • Lead supplier qualification processes, including audits and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using structured methodologies such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC to resolve supplier quality issues.
- • Analyze supplier quality data to detect trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the supply base.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure quality and compliance are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- • Support supplier development initiatives, including process transfers and new product introductions, ensuring suppliers are fully prepared for production.
- • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with suppliers to foster sustainable quality improvements and mutual accountability.
- • Influence supplier behavior and performance through data-driven insights and collaborative problem-solving at all organizational levels.
- • Ensure all supplier activities align with industry regulations and company quality systems, maintaining audit readiness and documentation integrity.
- • Participate in supplier performance reviews and scorecards to track progress and drive accountability for quality metrics.
- • Provide technical guidance to suppliers on quality requirements, process controls, and compliance expectations for aerospace-grade components.
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of supplier quality standards, tools, and procedures to enhance overall supply chain reliability.
- • Travel internationally up to 50% to conduct on-site supplier audits, support new product launches, and resolve critical quality issues.
- • Communicate complex quality issues and improvement plans clearly and effectively in English to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Maintain accurate records of supplier audits, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics in compliance with internal and external requirements.
- • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging supplier adoption of Lean Six Sigma principles and other efficiency-enhancing practices.
- • Act as the primary quality liaison between RTX and key suppliers, ensuring alignment on expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
- • Support procurement decisions by providing quality risk assessments and supplier capability evaluations prior to contract award.
- • Stay current with evolving aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice adoption.
