đź“‹ Description
- • As a Supply Chain Analytics and Systems SME at Henry Schein, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing the company's supply chain operations across all MSO (Member Service Organization) sites. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain principles, data governance, and system optimization to ensure master data integrity, precise system configuration, and effective planning parameter management. Your expertise will directly impact inventory control, operational performance, and the overall responsiveness of our supply chain to dynamic market demands.
- • You will be the architect of the "Supply Chain Process Playbook," a comprehensive document that will align supply chain activities with overarching business objectives. This playbook will detail standardized processes, work instructions, and clear input/output expectations, ensuring optimal resource utilization and agility in meeting market needs. Your role involves not just creating this framework but also ensuring its consistent application and continuous refinement.
- • A core responsibility is the ownership of the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of our critical supply chain planning systems. This includes meticulous master data governance, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data that drives our planning processes. You will manage planning parameters, ensuring they are accurately set and adjusted to reflect current business needs and future projections, and leverage system-driven analytics to provide deep insights into operational performance.
- • You will be tasked with establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately measure the effectiveness of MSO processes. This involves not only defining these metrics but also regularly analyzing and reporting on performance data. Your insights will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement, developing actionable strategies, and implementing corrective actions to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain.
- • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be a key aspect of your role. You will actively seek out opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction within the MSO Organization. This proactive approach to identifying and implementing process enhancements will be vital to maintaining a competitive edge.
- • You will lead critical business review meetings on a monthly basis, focusing on the demand forecasting process. This requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and finance. Your ability to synthesize information from these diverse stakeholders will be essential for accurately predicting market trends, understanding customer demands, and navigating product lifecycles.
- • Managing inventory levels and distribution strategies to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory is another key function. You will implement and champion best practices in inventory control and replenishment, ensuring that we maintain the right balance of stock to meet demand without incurring unnecessary carrying costs or write-offs.
- • A significant part of your role will involve proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks within the supply chain. This includes developing robust contingency plans and providing timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted product availability, thereby safeguarding business continuity and customer trust.
- • You will also participate in special projects as needed, contributing your expertise to broader strategic initiatives. This role requires a commitment to upholding company standards for work quality and quantity, adhering to all company policies and procedures, including Worldwide Business Standards, and performing all tasks in a professional and ethical manner.
