📋 Description
- • The Supply Chain Clinical Transformation Program Manager serves as the programmatic and operational coordinator for clinical value analysis processes within Bon Secours Mercy Health, driving high-quality, efficient, cost-effective, and aligned services by engaging physicians and clinicians in value-based variation reduction related to clinical practice, products, devices, and supplies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining project management tools (timelines, communication plans, dashboards, decision logs, risk analysis), communicating project status across forums, identifying synergies with other initiatives, coordinating product trials and table-tops for clinical acceptability, providing quantitative summaries to support product decision discussions, monitoring KPIs monthly, identifying cost reduction and timeline improvement opportunities, reviewing and facilitating new product requests for Clinical Integration Committee presentation, facilitating communication of clinical literature to support product utilization and education, and coordinating ongoing evaluation of approved products, technologies, services, and processes to verify expected outcomes.
- • The role operates within the Supply Chain Clinical Integration Department of Bon Secours Mercy Health, a mission-driven health system committed to equitable, high-quality patient care. The team collaborates closely with leadership, Clinical Integration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, and vendors to implement best practices and expense management initiatives that support safe patient care, education, and research.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in clinical value analysis, change management, cross-functional coordination, data-driven decision making, and healthcare supply chain optimization. They will achieve measurable impact on supply expense management initiatives and targets while contributing to system-wide improvements in product selection, utilization, quality, and cost efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in project management including maintaining timelines, communication plans, dashboards, decision logs, and risk analysis tools
- • Ability to communicate project status effectively across multiple forums and audiences
- • Experience coordinating product trials and clinical acceptability assessments between departments and vendors
- • Skills in providing quantitative summary analysis to support clinical implications of product decisions
- • Experience monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monthly and identifying cost reduction opportunities
- • Ability to review and facilitate presentation of new product requests to Clinical Integration Committees
