📋 Description

• As a Support Center Commissioning Technician at Copeland LP, you will serve as the primary North American technical and project support resource for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring refrigeration and control systems are properly configured, validated, and transitioned into operational use—directly contributing to the reliability and efficiency of climate technology solutions that protect temperature-sensitive goods and bring comfort globally.
• You will provide remote system checkout and validation support, including controller programming, configuration review, functional testing, and troubleshooting for refrigeration equipment, controls, compressors, valves, sensors, and refrigerant circuits, while supporting store onboarding activities and performing Programming Change Requests (PCRs) based on project requirements.
• You will collaborate closely with field technicians, project managers, engineers, and internal/external teams to resolve complex technical issues, act as a subject-matter expert for systems and configurations, and ensure timely resolution of escalations, special initiatives, and non-standard requests in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
• You will maintain accurate records of support and project activities, document programming updates and onboarding outcomes, generate reports on system performance trends and recurring issues, and contribute to internal knowledge bases, standard work instructions, and technical documentation to improve team efficiency and consistency.
• You will support training efforts for technicians and internal teams by assisting in developing training materials, job aids, and reference documentation related to system programming, remote checkout processes, and support standards, helping to promote consistent execution and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• You will join a global climate technologies company committed to sustainability, where your work directly supports the creation of efficient residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies, and where you’ll have opportunities to innovate, be challenged, and make an impact while working remotely with occasional travel to Copeland sites for collaboration.
• You will develop deep expertise in refrigeration and control systems, enhance your troubleshooting and remote support capabilities, gain experience managing competing priorities in a technical support environment, and grow your skills in documentation, training development, and cross-functional collaboration—positioning you for advancement in technical support, commissioning, or field engineering roles within the HVACR industry.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/R controls.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with BAS, BMS, or facility controls systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and remote support capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
• Experience supporting food retail refrigeration or case controllers (preferred).
• Strong electrical print reading and communication troubleshooting skills (preferred).

• Competitive base salary range of $70,000–$95,000 annually, commensurate with skills and experience, in accordance with Colorado EPEWA.
