📋 Description

• System Engineer (Token Factory) role at Nebius Group N.V., contributing to the development of a high-scale inference platform for AI foundation models across text, vision, audio, and multimodal architectures.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing low-level kernels and runtime components for AI inference, improving inference engine performance on GPU platforms, profiling and debugging system- and hardware-level performance issues, integrating support for new hardware architectures (Hopper, Blackwell, Rubin), and collaborating with ML and backend teams to optimize end-to-end execution.
• Nebius is a global leader in AI cloud infrastructure, headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel, employing over 1,400 people including 400+ skilled engineers and an in-house AI R&D team focused on cutting-edge cloud solutions for the AI economy.
• The role offers deep technical growth in GPU systems programming, performance optimization, and AI infrastructure, enabling the engineer to work at the forefront of large-scale AI deployment while collaborating with expert teams on globally impactful technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ or expertise in GPU programming with focus on low-level high-performance coding and memory management
• Experience in GPU programming or systems-level software development (e.g., OS internals, kernel modules, device drivers)
• Hands-on experience with profiling and debugging tools to identify and optimize performance issues on CPUs and GPUs
• Solid understanding of CPU/GPU architecture and memory hierarchy
