📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Tableau Developer to join our Federal Delivery team, playing a pivotal role in the successful implementation of complex Federal Salesforce Public Sector solutions. In this critical position, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, empowering leadership with the visibility and reporting necessary for informed decision-making on mission-critical programs.
• Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated, high-impact Tableau dashboards and analytical reports. These visualizations will serve as the cornerstone for leadership visibility, providing clear, concise, and timely information on program performance, key metrics, and strategic objectives within the Federal government context.
• You will work in close collaboration with the Program Manager and Solution Architect, acting as a vital bridge between intricate data environments and the strategic needs of Federal programs. This involves understanding the unique challenges and requirements of government data and translating them into effective data visualization solutions.
• A significant aspect of this role involves developing detailed data visualization design documents. These documents must not only outline the technical specifications of the dashboards but also rigorously comply with stringent Federal standards for data security, privacy, and reporting protocols.
• You will be responsible for the overall governance of program reporting delivery. This includes ensuring that all reporting activities, whether within Salesforce or Tableau environments, adhere strictly to Federal mandates regarding data handling, access control, and reporting accuracy.
• This position requires you to serve as a primary point of contact for cleared Federal stakeholders. You will facilitate technical discovery sessions, deeply understanding their mission strategies and operational needs to ensure that the data solutions you architect directly align with and support these objectives.
• Collaboration with other architects and developers is essential to ensure seamless and secure data flows. You will work to integrate data from various sources, including Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, AWS, and Tableau, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting purposes.
• A key deliverable will be the tracking and transparent communication of program performance metrics. You will be expected to provide executive-level status reports and maintain program dashboards that offer clear, real-time insights into progress, challenges, and achievements.
• The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical mastery in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server Online, and SQL. You must be adept at architecting robust data solutions specifically within secure Government Cloud environments, understanding the nuances of FedRAMP and other relevant compliance frameworks.
• You will leverage your expertise to build intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that cater to a diverse range of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership, ensuring that the data presented is easily understandable and actionable.
• This role demands a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations within Federal programs, contributing to enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing dashboards and data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic Federal environment is crucial.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of data visualization best practices within the organization, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members as needed.
• This role is contingent upon a successful bid award, meaning your contribution will be directly tied to securing and delivering significant Federal contracts.
• The hybrid work model requires occasional in-person visits to customer sites, Salesforce offices, and Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA, necessitating flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed within the DC Metro Area.
• Ultimately, you will be a key player in enabling Federal agencies to leverage their data more effectively, driving better mission outcomes through insightful and secure data visualization.

🎯 Requirements

• Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7-10 years of IT program or project experience, with a focus on data analytics in large-scale Federal environments.
• 3-5 years of proven experience creating analytics for programs utilizing Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, Service Cloud, and/or Agentforce.
• Exceptional expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server Online, and SQL.
• Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
