- • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple roles across departments, ensuring timely and efficient hiring cycles.
- • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and develop accurate job descriptions aligned with company standards.
- • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and talent communities to build a robust pipeline.
- • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit, skills, and interest before advancing to hiring managers.
- • Schedule interviews across multiple time zones, coordinating calendars between candidates, interviewers, and hiring teams to minimize delays.
- • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data, interview feedback, and status updates throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing clear communication, timely updates, and a positive candidate experience from application to offer stage.
- • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by ensuring equitable sourcing practices and unbiased screening processes.
- • Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source-of-hire, and offer acceptance rates to inform continuous improvement.
- • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with local labor regulations and company policies during the hiring process.
- • Assist in the onboarding preparation for new hires, including coordinating documentation, orientation schedules, and equipment requests.
- • Participate in recruitment marketing efforts by contributing to employer branding content, career site updates, and social media job postings.
- • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- • Stay updated on local labor market trends in Cape Town and South Africa to adapt sourcing strategies and remain competitive in talent acquisition.
- • Support special recruitment projects such as campus hiring, intern programs, and diversity-focused hiring campaigns as needed.
- • Ensure all hiring documentation is securely stored and compliant with data privacy regulations including POPIA.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or similar HR recruitment role
- • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- • Strong understanding of South African labor laws and recruitment best practices
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing candidate and stakeholder relationships
- • Ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines simultaneously with high attention to detail
- • Experience coordinating interviews across multiple time zones
