đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Talent Sourcer at Adaption Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the foundational team of an innovative early-stage startup focused on real-time evolving AI systems. This part-time, 20-hour per week contract role offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the critical task of identifying and attracting top-tier talent across a diverse spectrum of roles, from highly specialized technical positions to essential non-technical functions.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to proactively source high-quality candidates. This involves a broad reach, encompassing engineering and AI/ML research talent, as well as crucial go-to-market (GTM) professionals, operations specialists, marketing experts, and other vital team members needed to drive our ambitious vision forward. The ability to identify and engage with individuals possessing specialized skills, particularly in the AI/ML domain, will be a significant advantage.
  • • You will be the architect of our talent pipelines, employing a multi-faceted approach to candidate generation. This includes leveraging powerful tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and actively engaging with relevant community groups. Beyond these established platforms, you will be encouraged to develop and implement creative, out-of-the-box outreach strategies to uncover passive candidates who may not be actively looking but possess the ideal skill sets and cultural fit.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be crafting compelling and personalized outreach messages. In today's competitive talent market, generic messages are easily overlooked. You will need to demonstrate exceptional written communication skills, creating tailored content that resonates with potential candidates, clearly articulating the exciting opportunity at Adaption Inc., and compelling them to respond.
  • • Meticulous tracking and management of candidate activity are paramount. You will be responsible for diligently updating our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring that all candidate interactions, progress, and data are accurately recorded. This meticulous record-keeping is essential for maintaining clean, up-to-date pipelines, enabling efficient follow-up, and providing valuable insights into our sourcing efforts.
  • • This role is ideal for an individual early in their recruiting career who possesses a strong desire to learn and grow within the People & Talent function. You will gain exposure to the broader landscape of talent acquisition and management within a fast-paced startup environment.
  • • You will be expected to work with a scrappy and creative mindset, embracing the challenges of sourcing in a competitive market. A determined attitude, a refusal to give up when faced with difficult searches, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be key to your success.
  • • The role requires a strong understanding of Boolean search techniques to effectively navigate candidate databases and identify relevant profiles. Familiarity with recruitment technology, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and ATS platforms like Ashby, is expected.
  • • Beyond the core sourcing responsibilities, there is an opportunity to explore other facets of the talent function. Given that Adaption Inc. is a small, agile team, individuals with genuine curiosity about areas such as employee experience, onboarding processes, recruitment coordination, and company culture are highly valued. If you have a keen interest in learning or contributing to these areas, there may be opportunities to do so, fostering a holistic understanding of the People function.
  • • This position is a part-time contract, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with an immediate start date. There is a possibility of extension based on performance and business needs, offering a potential pathway for continued engagement.
  • • Ultimately, you will be a critical partner in building the human capital that will drive Adaption Inc.'s mission to create adaptable, real-time evolving AI systems. Your success will directly contribute to the company's ability to attract the best and brightest minds, pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and shaping the future of the industry.
