📋 Description

• As a Tax Accountant at Smartly.io Solutions Oy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the group’s international tax compliance and reporting obligations are met on time and in full, supporting the Smartly group of companies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Day to day, you will support direct and indirect tax matters, prepare and submit tax returns, review accounting balances for tax accuracy, manage tax compliance calendars, handle global mobility and fringe benefit tax, and work with external advisors on audits and advisory projects.
• You will join a diverse, multinational tax and finance team within Smartly.io, a global AI-powered advertising technology company serving 700+ brands and managing over $6B in ad spend across major platforms.
• In this role, you will deepen your international tax expertise, strengthen accounting and finance skills, drive process improvements, and gain exposure to cross-border tax regimes while contributing to real change in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in a similar tax, finance, and/or accounting role
• Understanding of direct/indirect tax, tax accounting, international tax law, and transfer pricing
• Strong Excel or Google Sheet skills; experience with NetSuite is an advantage
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
