📋 Description

• Tax Accountant (Indirect taxes) | Mid-Senior role at Nord Security, focused on ensuring compliance with indirect tax regulations across global operations.
• Manage VAT, GST, and other indirect tax filings, calculations, and reporting for multiple jurisdictions where Nord Security operates.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to support accurate tax treatment of digital products and services, including SaaS, subscriptions, and cross-border transactions.
• Monitor changes in international tax legislation and advise on implications for business operations and pricing strategies.
• Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities by preparing documentation and providing clear explanations.
• Contribute to process improvements in tax automation, data accuracy, and internal controls related to indirect tax compliance.
• Work within a dynamic, mission-driven tech company that values innovation, transparency, and global impact in cybersecurity.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, etc.) for multinational companies
• Strong understanding of international tax regulations, particularly as they apply to digital goods and services
• Proficiency in tax accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex tax legislation
• Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Lithuanian, Russian) are a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment
