  • As a Tax and Compliance Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our payroll tax and compliance operations, directly contributing to our mission of redefining the possible in healthcare.
  • This remote, nationwide position offers a starting pay of $29.20 per hour, with final compensation determined by your experience and qualifications.
  • You will be responsible for the meticulous maintenance and compliance of local, state, and federal tax elections for all associates, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • A key aspect of your role will involve the accurate and compliant administration of garnishments, safeguarding both the company and our associates.
  • You will actively participate in processing biweekly and off-cycle payroll requests, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of wages.
  • Contribute to the seamless onboarding of new payroll integrations by participating in meetings, providing training, and validating critical tax data.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all tax-related correspondence, ensuring proper documentation and submission to our third-party payroll provider.
  • Serve as a point of contact for associates, responding to inquiries and requests regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures with professionalism and clarity.
  • Prepare essential reports required by various agencies and internal business partners, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide crucial assistance with audits and the resolution of payroll tax discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and mitigating risks.
  • Play a vital role in the year-end W-2 process, coordinating effectively with HR staff, outsourced vendor teams, and the internal payroll department to ensure timely and accurate tax form distribution.
