• • As a Tax Registration Specialist at OneSource Virtual (OSV), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and accurate execution of daily tax registration operations within our dynamic Tax Operations team. This critical position reports directly to the leader overseeing Tax Registration, and your primary responsibility will be to uphold and enhance the delivery of high-quality payroll tax services that our valued customers have come to expect from OSV.
• • You will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of the end-to-end tax registration process. This includes, but is not limited to, meticulously handling rejections that arise due to missing account numbers, proactively completing re-filing procedures on behalf of our customers, and fostering close collaboration with various internal teams to ensure swift and effective case resolution. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be paramount in navigating these complexities.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve preparing a diverse range of tax transactions on behalf of OSV customers. This encompasses, but is not limited to, the accurate completion and submission of Withholding/Unemployment Tax Registration Applications, processing Tax D-Registrations, and managing notifications for Name Change or Address Change requests. Each transaction requires precision and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
• • You will serve as a key point of contact for our customers, interfacing with them via the OSV Support platform. Your responsibility will be to keep them consistently apprised of all ongoing tax registration activities, providing clear and timely updates. Furthermore, you will adeptly manage assigned customer cases within OSV Support, ensuring that both proactive tax registration projects and reactive filing rejection cases are handled with efficiency and professionalism.
• • A core function of this role is to identify and thoroughly analyze the unique payroll tax needs and specific requirements of our diverse customer base. This involves staying abreast of the latest tax registration compliance regulations and understanding any form changes that may impact our services. Your research and analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring that OSV consistently delivers top-tier tax services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
• • You will be adept at managing multiple, diverse sources of incoming data. This includes efficiently processing information received via electronic email queues, handling incoming physical mail, and managing data from various applications. Your ability to organize and prioritize these streams of information will be essential for maintaining operational flow.
