- • As a Team Lead Developer at Ruby Labs Ltd., you will be the technical backbone of the team, driving product delivery through hands-on coding and strategic leadership in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on health, education, and entertainment consumer products.
- • You will actively build complex features using Next.js and Node.js while owning architecture, mentoring engineers, ensuring quality and security, and translating business goals into scalable technical solutions that impact real users.

- • You will work closely with product and analytics teams to implement A/B testing, integrate AI-driven features, and optimize performance, gaining end-to-end ownership of product technical success.
- • In this role, you will grow as a technical leader by shaping team culture, improving delivery processes, and making high-impact architectural decisions that balance scalability, security, and speed — all while coding daily and staying close to the implementation.
- • You will strengthen your expertise in modern full-stack development, DevOps practices, AI integration, and secure system design, positioning yourself at the forefront of applied engineering in product-driven environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of active commercial experience with Next.js v14.x/v15.x, having led at least two projects where Next.js was the primary frontend framework.
- • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js using NestJS, Fastify, or Hono, with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
- • Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or Supabase, including query optimization and schema design, plus deep practical knowledge of Prisma or Drizzle ORM for complex queries and migrations.
- • Proven experience with Docker, Redis (or equivalent caching), background workers/queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ), and AI integration (OpenAI API, LangChain, or equivalent) on both client and server sides.
- • Minimum 2 years in a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or equivalent role with direct responsibility for a development team, including mentoring, code reviews, 1-on-1s, and driving accountability.
- • Fluent Russian language proficiency with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
