- • As a Tech Manager for Customer Experience (CX) at NICE Ltd., you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading multiple Research and Development (R&D) teams responsible for crafting a portfolio of enterprise-grade, cloud-scale products. This role is designed for an established R&D leader who possesses a profound passion for building and operating cloud-native, highly distributed products that serve millions of users within a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model. Your deep understanding of agile development methodologies will be crucial in guiding a team of highly qualified software engineers to achieve exceptional results.
- • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our CX solutions by collaborating closely with the line of business to define and refine the product roadmap and overarching strategy. This involves assisting in the development of comprehensive short, medium, and long-term plans that align with and drive the achievement of strategic objectives, ensuring our products remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to foster strong cross-functional collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with product managers, technical architects, QA engineers, technical writers, and software engineers to meticulously define and develop features, ranging from minor enhancements to significant new functionalities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
- • You will actively guide and mentor your teams, empowering them to develop features that not only meet stringent functional, quality, security, and operational requirements but also adhere to comprehensive documentation standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying and removing roadblocks, ensuring a smooth and efficient development lifecycle.
- • A significant part of your responsibility will be to drive and positively impact all current processes related to software development and continuous improvement across the organization. You will be expected to identify opportunities for optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- • People management is central to this role. You will be responsible for all people-related aspects of your teams, including strategic hiring to build high-performing teams, conducting performance reviews, developing individual growth and development plans, providing ongoing mentoring, and managing promotion processes. Your focus will be on nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- • You will be instrumental in providing worldwide support to our valued customers, ensuring their experience with our products is seamless and positive. This involves understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable improvements for the development teams.
- • You will play a major role in envisioning and executing next-generation plans, including architectural advancements, to achieve the longer-term strategic objectives of the organization. This requires a forward-thinking approach and the ability to translate strategic vision into tangible technical roadmaps.
- • You will be tasked with prioritizing, assigning, and managing department activities and projects in strict accordance with the R&D department's goals and objectives. This includes the ability to adjust hours of work, priorities, and staff assignments dynamically to ensure efficient operation based on fluctuating workloads and business demands.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and presenting innovative projects aimed at improving current processes and enhancing the overall platform, contributing to the continuous evolution and success of our product suite.
