- • As a Technical Account Manager on Automattic’s Special Projects team, you will ensure partners have an excellent experience with WordPress and Automattic products from onboarding through the full support and maintenance lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor and technical advocate.
- • Day to day, you will drive partner adoption of WordPress and WooCommerce, resolve incoming requests with precision, collaborate on defining website functionality in ambiguous contexts, lead high-touch deployments including DNS and data migrations, and serve as the 'voice of the customer' to product teams by surfacing bugs and improvement opportunities.
- • You will join a distributed, mission-driven team at Automattic, a company committed to democratizing publishing, commerce, and messaging, with over 1500 employees globally and a strong culture of open source, inclusivity, and innovation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in WordPress ecosystem technologies, sharpen your technical communication and project management skills, and gain experience influencing product direction through direct customer feedback and advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced WordPress admin expertise, including understanding plugin/theme interactions and comfort using the Site Editor to modify patterns and page templates.
- • Strong background in general web technologies: DNS, web accessibility, site performance, technical SEO, and ecommerce.
- • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage work independently, prioritize competing demands, and create structure in ambiguous situations.
- • Proven problem-solving, conflict resolution, and context-switching abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a drive to close out all project checklist items.
- • Understanding of how AI can enhance productivity in technical workflows.
