  • • You will serve as both the primary engagement lead and the definitive accounting authority for our clients, working directly with senior finance and accounting leaders. Your mission is to deeply understand the intricate operational realities of their clinical trials and translate complex accounting and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable system designs.
  • • Condor provides a cutting-edge financial intelligence layer that connects clinical operations, vendor activity, and financial signals into a single, real-time intelligence platform. Your role involves configuring this powerful system to support some of the most challenging and nuanced clinical trial accounting use cases in the industry, fundamentally changing how our clients operate.
  • • Success in this position hinges on possessing a profound understanding of the biopharma finance landscape – having truly 'walked in the shoes' of these teams. You must earn credibility as a peer who understands the high stakes, the intense pressure, and the subtle complexities inherent in their environment.
  • • Your sound judgment and deep expertise will be instrumental in shaping how customers entrust Condor with their critical operations and financial decision-making. This is a highly visible position, interacting with both emerging and established biopharma companies, where your contributions will directly influence adoption rates, expansion opportunities, and Condor's reputation as the undisputed standard for financial intelligence in life sciences.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Client Engagement and Consulting Leadership:
  • • Act as the primary point of contact and engagement manager for a portfolio of assigned client implementations and specialized consulting engagements.
  • • Lead structured, in-depth discovery sessions with key client stakeholders, meticulously gathering insights into their clinical trial structures, established accounting policies, operational workflows, and critical reporting requirements.
  • • Skillfully translate complex client requirements into clear, concise, and actionable implementation plans that seamlessly align intricate accounting needs with the robust capabilities of the Condor platform.
  • • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to client finance and accounting teams, offering expert guidance on all aspects of clinical trial accounting and advocating for industry best practices.
  • • Accounting Subject Matter Expertise:
  • • Provide unparalleled expert guidance on a wide array of clinical trial accounting topics, including but not limited to, accruals, investigator payments, Contract Research Organization (CRO) costs, pass-through expenses, milestone-based contracts, and the complexities of multi-currency trials.
  • • Ensure that Condor configurations precisely reflect each client's unique accounting policies and are meticulously designed to support audit-ready financial reporting.
  • • Confidently and credibly address complex accounting questions and challenging edge cases, ensuring client stakeholders are fully comfortable and assured with the resulting financial outcomes.
  • • Collaborate closely with client accounting teams to rigorously validate system outputs, ensuring complete alignment with internal controls and established financial close processes.
  • • Solution Configuration and Delivery Excellence:
  • • Expertly configure the Condor software to precisely meet each client's specific accounting and operational requirements, ensuring a tailored and effective solution.
  • • Rigorously validate configurations through comprehensive testing and detailed scenario walkthroughs, confirming that all critical use cases are fully supported and function as intended.
  • • Foster close collaboration with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to efficiently resolve any issues and continuously enhance client outcomes.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities to refine and improve implementation methodologies, develop reusable templates, and codify best practices based on invaluable real-world client experience.
  • • Relationship Management and Thought Leadership:
  • • Cultivate and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders across all organizational levels, from hands-on accounting professionals to senior finance leadership.
  • • Represent Condor as a credible and authoritative voice on clinical trial accounting during client meetings, strategic discussions, and industry forums.
  • • Actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives by meticulously documenting accounting use cases, identifying client patterns, and capturing key implementation insights to benefit the broader team.
  • • This role is crucial for scaling Condor's impact, as you will be instrumental in ensuring that enterprise teams can confidently rely on our platform for critical operations and finance, especially as we grow rapidly and serve Top 200 biopharma companies.
  • • You are not merely implementing software; you are empowering leading biopharma organizations to transform their financial operations, gain unprecedented control, and accelerate the delivery of life-saving therapies to patients. Your work directly contributes to the foundational infrastructure that will shape the future of clinical development finance.
